Welcome to Your New Club
Cricket into the New Millennium…
During the winter Eastleigh CC and Otterbourne CC have agreed to merge to
form Eastleigh & Otterbourne CC. The club will have 3 Saturday XI’s
playing in County division 1, East division 2 and East division 3.
The club colours are navy blue.
New Club – New Grounds
The 1st & 3rd XI’s will be playing at Doncaster Farm, Eastleigh. The 2nd &
Ladies XI will be playing at the Southern Water ground, Otterbourne.
The captains for the sides are:

Quiz Night
The fist social event of 2001
We will be holding a Quiz Night starting on Friday 20th April 2001 at the
Sporting View (formally the Pub in the Park) at Southampton Sports Centre.
It will start at 7.30 p.m. and sandwiches will be available. The maximum
number per team is 6

Please remember to bring a raffle prize with you.
Clothing
The club will again be providing clothing at cost. These will be fully
embodied with the new logo and the club sponsors. The cost will be:
Shirt £20
Short Sleeve wool jumper £25
Long Sleeve wool jumper £35
Cap £10

By the time you read this most of the net sessions will have gone! The
remaining ones are at Thornden School from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday:

Directions to Doncaster Farm
From the M27 J5 Airport junction take the “Sports Grounds / Concorde Club”
exit into Stoneham Way.
At the roundabout at the end turn left, and the entrance to the ground is
c.300 meters on the left.
Directions to the Southern Water Ground
From the M3 J5 Eastleigh North, at the main roundabout take the 1st
available exit signposted Otterbourne. At the next roundabout turn right,
signposted Otterbourne.
Follow this road down into Otterbourne and just before the roundabout turn
right into Oakwood Avenue.
Follow Oakwood Avenue until it splits at a (unmarked) T-junction. Turn
right and the entrance to the ground is c.100 meters on the left.
Under no circumstances should anyone try to get to the ground through the
Southern Water Works (now called Scottish Power) as they get very upset!
