| High Speed Manoeuvring Training | ||||||||||
| Driving safely within the limits of the road and traffic conditions should prevent the need to manoeuvre at high sped. However when there is no alternative it is important to know how to react and the capabilities and handling characteristics of the vehicle. |
Interesting Fact The Department for Transport found out, from surveys in 2001, that 54% of car drivers exceeded the 70mph speed limit on motorways and dual carriageways when travel was not constrained by congestion or other road conditions |

| Our course module looks at measures to prevent the need to manoeuvre at high speeds, through good hazard awareness and hazard perception skills. Knowing how to react and deal with high sped manoeuvring and the capabilities and characteristics of the vehicle’s primary safety systems are also covered. This module complements our high performance and skid awareness modules as vehicles can have very different handling characteristics when travelling at high speeds. | ||||||||||
| This training course may be appropriate if the risk assessments show that you have employees spending long periods of time on high speed roads or where the crash analysis shows that you are having high speed crashes. It is also a lot of fun, so can help motivate you employees. | ||||||||||
