| Automatics Training | ||||||||||
| Many employees choose vehicles with automatic gearboxes for comfort and safety reasons, especially high-mileage drivers. Automatics put less stress on the body, lessening the chances of the driver developing back pain or the early onset of fatigue. Whilst they can be safer in some situations, automatics present a different set of challenges to employees used to driving vehicles fitted with manual transmissions. |
Interesting Fact About one third of all road crashes are rear end shunts. Drivers can minimise their chances of being hit from behind by making themselves more visible - by ensuring that their brake lights are on or pulsed |

| This training course may be appropriate if the risk assessments show that you have employees driving vehicles with automatic transmissions. It may also be appropriate if you have staff who regularly hire cars in countries where automatic transmissions are common, such as the USA and Canada. | ||||||||||
