| Advanced Driving Test Preparation Training | ||||||||||
| Statistics show that drivers who have passed an advanced driving test are significantly less likely to be involved in a crash. Being a good driver means you never stop learning, and recognise the need to constantly review and adapt your driving to maintain standards and improve techniques. |
Interesting Fact Most warning signs (usually triangular in shape) are erected by councils only after there has been a crash at the hazard - you can use them to give you an early warning of dangerous stretches of road, and what to expect when you get there |

| Our course module is designed to improve the skill and safety of an employee's driving so that they are able to make the best use of their vehicle, the road and the prevailing traffic conditions, and progress to pass an advance driving test. The two best-known tests are the ones offered by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). Both require very high driving standards to pass, but we favour the RoSPA test as it gives a graded pass (gold, silver and bronze) and has a mandatory re-test every 3 years - this fits in well with our risk management process that looks for continuous improvement. | ||||||||||
| This training may be appropriate if the risk assessments show an overall high level of risk in a number of areas, or where an organisation has a very well-developed and accepted work-related road risk strategy and want to further reduce it's crash-rate by giving it's employees a very high level of skill / further improve their attitudes on the road. | ||||||||||
