| ABS / Braking Aids Training | ||||||||||
| Manufactures are constantly improving vehicle control by developing and fitting various primary vehicle safety features such as Antilock Braking Systems (ABS), traction control and emergency brake assist. Many drivers are unaware of the capabilities and different handling characteristics of vehicles fitted with these devices and the techniques needed to maximise the available safety benefits from their use. Indeed, some drivers overestimate what these primary safety features are capable of and take more risks, increasing the likelihood that they will be involved in a crash. |
Interesting Fact The stopping distances you learnt for your driving test are relevant for concentrating drivers with good road conditions. They will be doubled in the wet and up to 10x greater in icy conditions |

| Our course module is designed to help drivers understand and experience the different handling characteristics of vehicles fitted with these features, the purpose of them (what they can and cannot do) and, most importantly of all, how to use them in different situations. | ||||||||||
| This training course may be appropriate if the risk assessments show that you have employees driving in area / countries where snow is common, or where employees lost control of their vehicles fitted with ABS. This course is also appropriate if you specify that vehicles should be fitted with ABS / braking aids. It is also a lot of fun, so can help motivate you employees. | ||||||||||
