  Security Training
Many drivers do not give a second thought to the security of their vehicle or, more worryingly, themselves.  There are many simple precautions that can minimise the theft of, or of items from a vehicle, as well as steps that can be taken to minimise the risks of a physical assault.  This can be a big issue for organisations whose drivers regularly carry high-value items in their vehicles.

Interesting Fact

As manufacturers improve vehicle security, your risks of being physically assaulted for your vehicle keys increases

Our course module gives employees practical tips on how to minimise their personal risks,  such as how to park safely, and a procedure to use when arriving at an unfamiliar destination after dark.  It also covers vehicle (and in-vehicle items) security issues to minimise the chances of theft.  Practical tips on everyday situations, such as petrol station security, are also covered.

This training may be appropriate if the risk assessment shows that employees are vulnerable to physical assault, such as lone women drivers, regular users of multi-story car parks and those who regularly arrive after dark at unfamiliar destinations.
