Many drivers have no idea how to adjust the seat, steering wheel and head restraint to obtain the correct seating position.  Any deficiencies in the seating position will lead to the early onset of fatigue, one of the most common causes of crashes, especially amongst business drivers who tend to drive longer hours and at more anti-social times.

Interesting Fact

During the day, after we get up, are spine compresses slightly, so you may have to readjust your rear view mirror after a long day at work

Our course module shows employees how to obtain the optimum seating position in each vehicle, and some ideas on simple exercises that they can carry out whilst driving to help delay the onset of fatigue.  It is often combined with fatigue / stress management training, as the two areas are closely related.

This training may be appropriate if the risk assessment shows that employees are spending long hours behind the wheel, they are overweight or they have a history of back or neck pain.
