| Breakdown Management Training | ||||||||||
| When a driver's vehicle suffers a breakdown, rational thought is often replaced by anger, frustration and bewilderment, and drivers often put themselves at increased risk of harm due to their actions after the breakdown. The biggest issue is with their own, and their passengers, personal safety after the breakdown. |

| Our course module focuses on a practical procedure to follow in the event of a breakdown, that helps ensure that the vehicle occupants are not exposed to greater danger. It covers what to do on different road types as well as advice on when to, and when not to attempt roadside repairs, including wheel changing. As most breakdowns are caused by poor routine maintenance or servicing, this course is often combined with our routine maintenance training course. | ||||||||||
| This training may be appropriate if the risk assessment shows that employees regularly breakdown, spend a long time making motorway journeys, or if they cover high mileages, increasing the likelihood that they will suffer a breakdown. | ||||||||||
